Fair share contribution – it’s not too late!

As most of you are aware, the athletics programs at our high school receive minimal financial support from the school district. It is therefore the responsibility of the booster club to fund these programs. Without financial support from Mustang families, Track & Field in its current form may cease to be a sustainable spring sport for the school. If you haven’t already sent in your donation, please help us by contributing to your athlete’s success and that of the Track & Field program here at YLHS. If you have, please accept our sincere thanks – we are all boosters, and we can’t do it without you!

Click here for the fair share contribution form, and be sure to follow our progress via the “Fair Share Progress” thermometer on the right-hand side of the YLHS Track & Field home page. Thanks for your support!

Thank you for our new race clock!

If you were able to attend any of this or last week’s exciting competition, did you notice the brand new race clock by the start/finish line? This addition to our school’s timing and scoring system was made possible by donations from the following families/businesses:

  • The Cohen Family
  • The Hernandez Family
  • Reino & Iida A Law Corporation (Iida Family)
  • Progressive Builders (Ware Family)

A race clock not only provides visible timing for our athletes (lap splits, pace and finish), it helps coaches, officials and spectators keep track of race progress and adds to the excitement of the competition. Thank you so much for your generous contribution to the YLHS Track & Field program!

Mark your calendars!

Mark your calendars and reserve Wednesday evening, May 30th (6:45pm-9:00pm), for the end of the season Track & Field awards and recognition banquet.  This is an awesome evening of fun, food, friendship, and of course a great opportunity to review the season’s many outstanding accomplishments.  Check your email – the Evites have been sent out! If you don’t receive your official invitation, please be sure to contact Amanda Massey or Andrea Lamb.
